The working principle of flange solenoid valve

The flange solenoid valve is a pilot-operated solenoid valve with two major components, the auxiliary valve and the main valve. The steam solenoid valve controls the opening and closing of the main valve by the opening and closing of the auxiliary valve. According to the switch state when the power is off, it can be divided into normally closed solenoid valve and normally open solenoid valve.


Normally closed solenoid valve, when the power is off, the auxiliary valve port is closed and the main valve is open. When the electric signal enters the pilot valve coil, the movable iron core is sucked up by electromagnetic force to open the auxiliary valve port, and the main valve cup The pressure disappears quickly, and the medium pressure will hold the main valve valve cup, open the main valve port, and the working medium is hard and can flow. But when the electric signal disappears, the movable iron core is reset and the auxiliary valve port is closed. The working medium enters the valve cup from the balance hole. When the pressure of the valve actuator is balanced, the main valve spring, the weight of the valve cup and the medium pressure make The valve cup moves down to tightly seal the main valve port, and the valve is closed again.


   Normally open solenoid valve, in the normal position of power failure, the auxiliary valve port is opened by the spring action, and the main valve flows. When the electric signal enters the auxiliary valve coil, the movable iron core is sucked down by the electromagnetic action, and the auxiliary valve port is closed. The working medium of the medium temperature solenoid valve enters the valve cup through the balance hole. When the pressure of the gas solenoid valve is balanced, it depends on the main valve spring , The weight of the valve cup and the pressure of the medium make the valve cup move downwards, sealing the main valve port tightly, and the valve is closed. When the main valve is de-energized, the electromagnetic force disappears, the auxiliary valve opens, and the pressure in the main valve cup disappears quickly. The medium pressure will support the main valve cup, open the main valve port, the medium flows, and the valve is open.
