1. Determine the output torque of the electric actuator according to the torque required by the valve

The torque required for opening and closing the valve determines the output torque of the electric actuator. The valve actuator is generally proposed by the user or selected by the valve manufacturer. As the actuator manufacturer, it is only responsible for the output torque of the actuator. The valve opens normally. The torque required for closing is determined by factors such as valve diameter, working pressure, etc. However, due to the difference in processing accuracy and assembly technology of valve manufacturers, the required torque for valves of the same specification produced by different manufacturers are also different, even for the same valve manufacturer. The torque of the produced valves of the same specification is also different. When the torque of the actuator is selected too small, the anti-frost level gauge will not be able to open and close the valve normally. Therefore, the electric actuator must select a reasonable torque range.

2. Determine the electrical parameters according to the selected electric actuator

Because the electrical parameters of different actuator manufacturers are different, it is generally necessary to determine the electrical parameters when designing and selecting, mainly motor power, rated current, secondary control loop voltage, etc., often negligence in this regard, as a result, the control system Mismatch with the parameters of the electric actuator causes electric actuator failures such as air circuit breaker tripping, fuse blown, and thermal overload relay protection tripping during operation.
