Solenoid valve fault analysis and solution
Solenoid valve failure analysis and solutions
The following questions often appear during the use of solenoid valves, which cause us a headache. Yongjia Shangzheng Fluid Technology Co., Ltd. will analyze and answer these questions for your reference:
One of the faults, the pressure behind the valve cannot be adjusted:
①The adjustment spring failed; ②The joint of the gas solenoid valve cap leaked and the pressure could not be maintained.
Solution: It needs to be prevented by timely inspection and treatment.
The second fault, the solenoid valve is not open. The reasons are:
①The control channel is blocked by debris (the channel is small and easy to block);
②The piston is stuck in a high position due to rust stains; although the upper part is under force, it cannot move downwards and cannot open the main channel.
Solution: A filter must be installed before the piston pressure reducing valve; for newly installed or long-term out of service pressure reducing valves, they must be disassembled for inspection and cleaning.
The third fault is that there is a phenomenon that the pressure pulse after the valve fluctuates, which is extremely unstable.
Solution: ① This is because the difference between the input medium and the output medium of the high-temperature solenoid valve is too large, and the valve with the same valve diameter should be reselected.
②The reason for the pressure instability behind the valve is improper selection of the adjusting spring; for a pressure reducing valve with nominal pressure, there are several types of adjusting springs. For example, the nominal pressure is 16 kg/cm², and the adjusting spring is 1-3 kg/ There are three types: square centimeter, 2-8 kg/square centimeter, and 7-11 kg/square centimeter. If the pressure behind the valve is only 1-3 kg/square centimeter, but the spring is the kind of 7-11 kg/square centimeter. The pressure after the solenoid valve is inaccurate.
The fourth fault is that the solenoid valve is directly connected and cannot reduce pressure. The reasons are:
① The piston is stuck in a certain position (not a high position);
②The main valve handle is stuck at a certain position (not the close position) of the guide hole of the cylinder plate;
③The spring at the bottom of the main valve disc is broken or invalid;
④The pulse valve handle is stuck in a certain position (not the close position) in the valve seat hole, so that the piston is always under pressure;
⑤ There is dirt stuck or nicks between the two sealing surfaces of the main valve disc and the main valve seat;
⑥ The diaphragm fails due to fatigue or damage.
Solution: For the pressure reducing valve, it is necessary to check regularly. If dirt and rust stains are found, they should be removed in time; the electric actuator piston ring should be replaced if it is damaged; the spring should be replaced with a usable spring; if the sealing surface is not tight, it should be reground; the diaphragm should be replaced if it is not working well; The handle is relatively thick and should be polished with sandpaper.
