Installation tips for solenoid valves

When installing the electromagnetic method, the staff should choose a reasonable environment according to the following issues to ensure the service life and performance of the solenoid valve.

  1. Before installing the solenoid valve, carefully check whether the parameters marked on the nameplate are the parameters of the selected product;

  2. Solenoid valve should not be installed in the recessed part of the pipeline, if installed in the discharge pipeline of the container, pay attention not to lead out from the bottom of the container, but should be installed at a position slightly above the bottom of the container;

  3. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If the medium is mixed with dirt and other impurities to prevent the electric actuator of the solenoid valve from working normally, a filter should be installed in the pipeline;

  4. High-temperature solenoid valves and solenoid valves are generally directional and cannot be installed reversely. Usually, an "arrow" is used to indicate the flow direction of the medium on the valve body, and the installation should be in accordance with the direction indicated by the "arrow";

  5. If the medium is subject to water hammer, a multi-function solenoid valve should be selected or corresponding preventive measures should be taken;

  6. Attention should be paid when taking over, the sealing material should not be used excessively. For example, when the thread is connected, the thread of the connecting pipe should be kept within the effective length, and the half-pitch of the end should be chamfered with a magnetic turning column level gauge and a file, and the sealing tape should be wound at 2 teeth from the end, otherwise excessive sealing tape Or the adhesive will enter the solenoid valve, and an accident that hinders normal operation will occur;

  7. There should be a certain reserved space at the solenoid valve installation place to facilitate its daily maintenance and regular maintenance.
