  1. The power consumption and allowable transmission distance of the solenoid valve. In actual design and application, the solenoid valve has two forms of power supply: 220 V AC or 24 V DC. If the 220 V AC power supply is used, the anti-frost level gauge has a high power supply voltage, and the voltage drop caused by the transmission cable will not affect the normal operation of the solenoid valve. It does not need to consider the voltage loss of the cable resistance, so it can be transmitted over a long distance. If the supply voltage of the solenoid valve is 24 V DC, the maximum allowable length of the cable must be calculated according to the low operating voltage of the solenoid valve.


2. Interlocking control of solenoid valve In order to avoid failure of solenoid valve action when interlocking occurs due to power failure, solenoid valves are usually normally closed (NC), that is, they are energized during normal operation, and power is lost during interlocking action; in addition, There is also a universal type (can be connected to either normally closed or normally open). In practical applications, according to the safety protection needs of the process, determine which form can meet the safety conditions to choose NC (normally closed) or universal.


All in all, the double-coil solenoid valve can realize that when the power fails, the shut-off valve will not act due to power loss. The steam solenoid valve still maintains the position before the power failure. In actual design and application, single-coil or double-coil solenoid valve The selection must be based on the needs of the process flow and meet the interlocking requirements.


3. Matters needing attention in the application of solenoid valve. In the process of applying solenoid valve, the fault of solenoid valve will directly affect the action of shut-off valve or control valve. A common fault is that the solenoid valve fails to move. When such problems are encountered , Should be investigated from the following aspects.


   In addition, temperature, pressure, and explosion-proof zone division should be considered when selecting solenoid valves. In short, when designing and selecting solenoid valves, on the one hand, it should be based on the actual interlock protection needs of the process, and on the other hand, the reliability and economy of the solenoid valve should be considered. The economics of the magnetic flip-column level gauge must be based on safety, applicability and reliability. The economy is not only the price of the product, but also the function and quality, installation and maintenance costs, and the cost-performance ratio of the product.
