The solenoid valve is a valve that relies on the electromagnetic force generated by the power supply coil to drive the movable iron core to open and close the valve disc. It is an industrial equipment controlled by electromagnetic. It is used in the industrial control system to adjust the direction, flow, speed and other parameters of the medium.


Use of solenoid valve:

   High temperature solenoid valve is suitable for neutral and pure gas, especially air, water, and other pipeline control systems; widely used in shipbuilding heavy industry, testing equipment, humidification equipment, hydraulic equipment, etc., the working temperature is above 300 ℃ in heat conduction systems.


Structural features of gas solenoid valve:


  The valve core is a stainless steel piston type; the piston ring is made of special temperature-resistant and wear-resistant materials

   There is no direct friction between the piston and the metal valve cavity, and the service life is ten times that of similar products

  The installation direction of the valve body is unlimited, and the action response is fast

  Specially made coil, and adopts heat dissipation structure, so it is not easy to burn

   Stop the action for a long time and restart, the action is also sensitive


working principle:


   Normally closed: When the coil is energized, the electromagnet core pulls in, the pressure relief hole opens, and the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure to open the main valve port and the medium flows.

   When the coil is de-energized, the main valve port is closed and the medium is cut off.

   Normally open: When the coil is energized, the electromagnet core pulls in, the pressure relief hole is closed, the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure to close the main valve port, and the medium is cut off.

   When the coil is de-energized, the main valve port opens and the medium flows.


Packed solenoid valves are mostly used for high temperature, low temperature or strong corrosive fluids due to the packing, fluid does not contact the casing and iron core, but because of the stuffing box, the volume is larger and the friction of the valve stem is increased. , So there are fewer applications. The power supply of the solenoid valve is divided into AC and DC. The solenoid valve with alternating current operates very fast, but it is easy to generate heat and has a small opening and closing force. The solenoid valve with direct current is not easy to generate heat and has a large opening and closing force, but the action is not as fast as exchange.
